My Everyday Oatmeal
My fail-safe, fool-proof, always satisfying, smells delicious, makes my coworkers jealous, everyday oatmeal!
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1-2 tsp chia seeds
- small handful of almonds, chopped
- several dashes of cinnamon
Mix with roughly a cup or so of water, depending how runny you like it, and microwave for 1-2 minutes. Sometimes I will add almond milk to it afterwards for a little extra flavor boost and to make it slightly creamier. Top with fresh fruit, nut butters, granola, go crazy :)
